      42nd territorial defense battalion 'Rukh Oporu'
      Killed in action on August 28, 2014, in battles near the city of Debaltseve in the Donetsk region. Viktor covered the retreat of a column of Ukrainian military equipment and, at the cost of his own life, saved his comrades-in-arms.
