- Born on June 8, 1965, in the village of Movchany, Krasyliv district, Khmelnytskyi region. Graduated from the secondary school of the village of Radisne, Krasyliv district. Served mandatory military service in the ranks of the Armed Forces of the USSR. In 2014, he was mobilized as a volunteer into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 30th Separate Guards Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0409 (field post V2731), city of Novograd-Volynskyi, Zhytomyr region). Since 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On January 31, 2015, Junior Sergeant Sadovets was killed near the urban-type settlement of Chornukhine in the Popasna district of Luhansk region. Since then, the serviceman was considered missing in action. The body of Viktor Sadovets, along with the bodies of other fallen in the battles for the city of Debaltseve, was brought to the morgue of the city of Dnipropetrovsk (now Dnipro). In May 2015, he was identified through DNA testing. On May 22, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Movchany, Krasyliv district, Khmelnytskyi region.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
