"Viktor was a faithful and caring husband, a loving father and a good son. Above all, he loved nature, resting his soul when he went to the forest for mushrooms. Viktor was a true patriot, a responsible and reliable comrade. I am proud of my husband, and the children are proud of their father, his courage, bravery, and strength of spirit. Not everyone can, looking death in the eye, stand shoulder to shoulder with comrades, not fearing for their lives. Until his last breath, he remained faithful to his comrades, his people and his Motherland," wrote Olena Dankiv. The defender was buried in his native village. At home, Viktor was awaited by his mother, sister, wife, two children, grandson, other relatives and friends.
