  Born on December 9, 1973, in the village of Verkhnі Hаі, Drohobych district, Lviv region. Graduated from high school. In April 2015, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a shooter in the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1778 (field post V4673), city of Mukachevo, Transcarpathian region). Since the spring of 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On June 2, 2015, soldier Marochkanich died of a heart attack in the city of Sievierodonetsk, Luhansk region. On June 8, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Verkhnі Hаі, Drohobych district, Lviv region.
