Viktor F. Antonov (Student)

Antonov Viktor Fedorovich was born in 1977 in the village of Yaltushkiv, Barsky district, Vinnytsia region. He graduated from the Polytechnic Institute. In 2013, from the beginning of the Revolution of Dignity, on Maidan Nezalezhnosti, he defended the freedom of Ukrainians. With the beginning of the war in Eastern Ukraine, from 2014, he participated in combat operations. He died on April 17, 2022. Viktor's comrade-in-arms, who was with him at the moment of his death, recalls: "Viktor and his reconnaissance group had to help us get out of the fire zone, another guy from his group was supposed to be in front of him, but he told him to stand behind. As a result, they fell into an ambush, and Viktor received fatal injuries. The whole group was saved thanks to him, and he heroically gave his life for his country and his comrades."
