Viktor H. Dahli (Smurfik)

Soldier Viktor Dahli (call sign Smurf) was killed on November 12, 2022, during the performance of a combat mission in the area of the village of Nevelske in the Donetsk region. Five days before his death, the defender turned 21 years old. Viktor was from the Donetsk region. He graduated from the 9th grade of the Nikolska school, then obtained secondary technical education at the Mariupol Vocational School No. 64. After his studies, in 2019, he chose the path of a military and went to serve under contract in the 56th separate motorized infantry Mariupol brigade. He took part in the Joint Forces Operation. He carried out combat missions in the Donetsk region, in the areas of Marinka, Kurakhove and Bakhmut. "He never stood aside from other people's problems. Viktor was sensitive and attentive, kind and hardworking, brave and courageous! At the cost of his own life, he saved his comrades, but he himself was killed. The guys found Viktor already lifeless and transported the body to Dnipro. The bitterness of the loss, the pain that pierces, to which one cannot get used, which cannot be forgiven. Sincere condolences to the relatives and friends, great gratitude for the patriot! Eternal, bright memory and glory to the Hero... Our boundless honor to the fallen defender!" - it was written on the page of the Nikolska secondary school. The serviceman was buried in the village of Orshivtsi, Chernivtsi region. Viktor is survived by his parents.
