Viktor H. Lukashevych

Soldier Viktor Lukashevych was killed on March 4, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region. The defender was 53 years old. Viktor was from the Chernihiv region. He lived with his family in the village of Kulylivka. He served in the regular army. He worked as a construction worker in Kyiv, Boryspil, Irpin and other cities. In 2016-2019, he fought in the ATO / JFO in Donbas. Since 2021, he has been working as a mason at the UkrSiverBud company. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, the man took up arms again to defend Ukraine from the occupiers. He served in the 3rd separate Iron Tank Brigade. He held the position of mortar battery crew member. "Viktor and I worked together in construction for many years. He was a good, kind person, always happy to help. He loved his grandchildren very much," said his colleague Serhiy. "A brave warrior, a true patriot, a wonderful father, husband and comrade. This is how he will remain in the memory of all who knew him. Eternal memory to the hero! Respect and deep bow to the family!" noted the Kulylivka settlement council. Viktor was buried in the village of Kulylivka in the Chernihiv region. His wife, children and grandchildren were waiting for him at home.
