Biography
Mykytiuk Viktor Ivanovych studied at Uzhhorod State University, a mathematician and lecturer. During the Soviet era, he was a deputy of the Zdolbuniv City Council and the first secretary of the Zdolbuniv District Committee. Since 1991, he worked in the Internal Affairs Ministry, retiring at the age of 42 with the rank of police major. In August 2014, he was called to serve in the "Horyn" battalion, with the call sign Lysy. He died on June 28, 2015, as a result of a serious illness contracted in the ATO zone. He is buried in the cemetery in Zdolbuniv, Rivne region, in the Alley of Heroes. He loved his comrades-in-arms with true brotherly love, considered the map of Donetsk and Luhansk regions with their autographs the most valuable, and aspired to return and fight alongside them until victory, but he could not…Military service
