Viktor I. Pazyna (Tykhyi)

Senior Seaman Viktor Pazyna (call sign Tykhyi) was killed on December 8, 2023 in a battle near the village of Krynky in the Kherson region. The following month, the warrior would have turned 25 years old. Viktor was from the village of Kruti in the Odesa region. He studied at the Faculty of History and Philosophy of Odesa National University named after I.I. Mechnikov, majoring in History and Archaeology. He loved football and adored surprising his loved ones. He is remembered as an open, sincere and kind person who always came to help and support. Although the boy studied to be a teacher, military service became his passion. Viktor was a fighter of the 73rd Marine Special Operations Center. He learned a lot and professionally carried out combat missions at the front. "Vityusha was such a sunshine that there are no more. Always kind, never refuses anyone. His comrades-in-arms always remember him smiling. A person who postpones his affairs if help is needed - will always provide it. He was brave, courageous, the smartest. He studied a lot and always showed excellent results. He had many friends who respected him. Vitya loved the military very much, he went abroad for training. He was last in the Netherlands, told how interesting it is underwater and what kinds there are. He always came to me with bouquets of flowers, loved to surprise with different gifts. He also came to his mother with flowers. He loved life very much, hurried to live and start a family. After the war, we wanted to celebrate a big wedding, and during the war we were going to get married, arranging an event in the Ukrainian style... He was a dream guy..." - his beloved Tetyana Bezzub said. The hero was buried in his native village. Viktor left behind his mother, brother, girlfriend, son and relatives. Viktor Pazyna was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
