Viktor M. Bihanovskyi

Senior soldier Viktor Biganovsky was killed on October 12, 2022 near the village of Yakovlivka in the Donetsk region. The defender was 34 years old. Viktor was from the village of Podillya, Ivano-Frankivsk region. He lived in Ivano-Frankivsk. He graduated from the Ivano-Frankivsk Professional Construction Lyceum No. 5. He worked on facade works. In his free time, he loved to fish and be with his family. In 2014, he participated in the ATO in Donbas. At the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, on March 9, 2022, the man joined the ranks of the defenders of Ukraine. He served in the 10th separate mountain assault brigade "Edelweiss". He was a rifleman-assistant grenadier. "We bow our heads in sorrow and honor before the true warrior, a participant in the ATO, our defender and fellow countryman, who, without hesitation, in the very first days of the full-scale war with Russia, again stood up to defend the country and gave his life for its freedom and our peaceful dawns. He believed in our Victory and brought it closer, we are all grateful to him for this. Sincere condolences and deep bows to Viktor's relatives and loved ones! The name of Viktor Biganovsky will forever be inscribed in the Book of Memory of our community. May his soul find eternal rest, and may the Lord embrace it! Eternal memory and glory to the Heroes!" - said in the Bilshivtsi community. The warrior was buried in the Alley of Glory of the cemetery in the village of Chukalivka, Ivano-Frankivsk region. Viktor is survived by his father, brother, sister, wife and son.
