Viktor M. Hurbo (Puma)

Gurba Viktor Mykolayovych was born on October 7, 1995, in the Republic of Belarus. On March 11, 2022, Senior Soldier Viktor Gurba was called up for military service in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine during mobilization. On January 12, 2023, Viktor Gurba, as part of the consolidated unit "Volyn," was dispatched to the area of direct fire confrontation with the enemy army of the Russian Federation in Eastern Ukraine. He repeatedly carried out combat missions to repel the armed aggression of the occupiers in the area of the city of Soledar and the city of Bakhmut in Donetsk region. On February 10, 2023, while performing a combat mission in the vicinity of the city of Bakhmut, Senior Soldier Viktor Gurba sustained gunshot wounds incompatible with life. For personal courage and selfless actions demonstrated in defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and for loyalty to the military oath, Senior Soldier Gurba Viktor Mykolayovych was posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage" III degree.
