Viktor M. Pryimak

Born on November 10, 1977, in the urban-type settlement of Polyanka, Baranivka District, Zhytomyr Oblast. Graduated from a general education school. Served mandatory military service in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Lived in the village of Berestivka, Baranivka District, Zhytomyr Oblast. In the spring of 2014, he was mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Served as a machine gunner in the 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0409, city of Novograd-Volynskyi, Zhytomyr Oblast). Since the summer of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On August 6, 2014, a column of Ukrainian military vehicles, which included soldier Pryimak, came under mortar fire near the village of Stepanyvka in the Shakhtarsk District of Donetsk Oblast. As a result of the shelling, the serviceman was killed. On August 9, 2014, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Berestivka, Baranivka District, Zhytomyr Oblast.
