- Soldier Viktor Tymoshchuk (call sign Batya) was killed on June 27, 2023 near the village of Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region. He sustained a gunshot wound while carrying out a combat mission. The defender was 52 years old. Viktor was born in the village of Kyryivka, Zhytomyr region. He lived in the village of Avratyn. He obtained a specialized secondary education as a mechanic and driver. He worked as a tractor driver in the collective farm, and in recent years he was engaged in house repairs. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, the man went to the front. Initially, Viktor served in the 95th separate airborne assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In 2023, he was transferred to the 103rd separate brigade of the territorial defense. "Viktor Mykolaiovych was a real man, a patriot, and a man of his word. He loved his family very much and was always ready to come to the aid of all his acquaintances. He never complained when he was at the front, he always said: 'I'm doing well, the main thing is that you are safe,'" said his goddaughter Anastasia. The defender was buried in the village of Avratyn in the Zhytomyr region.
