Viktor M. Yevenko

Sergeant Viktor Yevenko died on March 18, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission in the Bakhmut district of Donetsk region. He was 35 years old. Viktor was born in the village of Panasivka in the Sumy region. He graduated from the Synivskyi Professional Agrarian Lyceum. In peacetime, he worked at the enterprise "Lypova Dolyna Agroforestry". In his free time, he loved to go fishing. In January 2023, the man joined the ranks of the airborne assault troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 77th separate airmobile brigade, holding the position of gunner. "Viktor was a hardworking person and a very good friend. He loved and valued his family: his wife and son," said Serhii Karpets, the deceased's brother-in-law. The defender was buried in his native village. He is survived by his mother, brother, wife, son, relatives, and friends. Viktor Yevenko was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
