- Senior Soldier Viktor Yurchak (call sign Master) was killed in action on March 28, 2022, near the town of Rubizhne in Luhansk region. The warrior received fatal injuries during an enemy strike on Ukrainian positions. The defender was forever 25 years old. Viktor was born in the village of Rydomyl in Ternopil region. After the 9th grade, he entered the Zaporizhzhia Professional Aviation College named after O.H. Ivchenko. He obtained the specialty of an aircraft engine designer-mechanic. He loved sports from childhood: running, athletics, football. According to his relatives, he was the best son, brother, and friend. He loved children very much but did not have time to start his own family. In 2021, Viktor went to contract service in the National Guard of Ukraine. As part of the 4th Operational Brigade, he defended the country in the JFO zone. He met the full-scale Russian invasion in the East of Ukraine. He held the position of mechanic-driver of the anti-aircraft missile platoon of the anti-aircraft missile battery of the anti-aircraft missile and artillery division. "I am proud of my brother, parents are proud of their son. Viktor gave his life, having so many plans and unfulfilled dreams, for us and for a free Ukraine and peace," said the sister of the defender. "Forever with me, forever in my heart," wrote his girlfriend Valeria. The warrior was buried at Kushuhum cemetery near the city of Zaporizhzhia. Viktor is survived by his parents, sister, brother, girlfriend, and friends. Posthumously, Viktor Yurchak was awarded the Order "For Courage" III degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
