Viktor O. Humeniuk

Born on January 16, 1990, in the city of Tetiiv, Kyiv region. In 2007, he graduated from Tetiiv Secondary School No. 4 (now Tetiiv Educational Complex "Gymnasium - Secondary School I-III degrees") in Tetiiv, and in 2008, he graduated from Vocational Technical School No. 8 in Tetiiv (now Tetiiv Vocational Technical School) with specialties in "tractor driver-machine operator in agricultural production" and "accountant." From 2008 to 2013, he served under contract in the 93rd Separate Line and Node Communication Regiment of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1735, city of Zhytomyr - the regiment was disbanded in 2013). On May 15, 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the Tetiiv District Military Commissariat of Kyiv region. He served as a shooter in the 11th Territorial Defense Battalion "Kyiv Rus" (since November 2014 - the 11th Separate Motorized Infantry Battalion) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit field post V2262). Since 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On April 7, 2015, Senior Soldier Humeniuk was killed during an artillery shelling by Russian armed formations near the village of Opytne in the Yasynuvata district of Donetsk region. He was buried in the cemetery of the city of Tetiiv, Kyiv region.
