- Soldier Viktor Yustimenko (call sign Karpatiy) was killed in action on July 19, 2022, near the village of Lyubomyrivka in the Mykolaiv region. While performing his duties, he received fatal injuries during an enemy artillery shelling. The next month, on August 10, the warrior would have turned 31 years old. Viktor was from Vinnytsia region. He lived in the village of Filippol. He graduated from Vinnytsia Center of Professional and Technical Education No. 1 and received the profession of an electrician for the repair and maintenance of electrical equipment. He worked in his specialty at the company "Khmelnytskyi EM PJSC Vinnitsaoblenergo". In the first days of the full-scale invasion, the man was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade named after Yakov Gandziuk. He fought on the southern direction of the front. "He was kind, strong and courageous. He adored his family, did not leave anyone in trouble, loved his platoon very much. And most importantly, he was the person you could rely on," said the wife of the deceased, Iryna. The defender was buried in the village of Velykyi Mytnyk in Vinnytsia region. Viktor left behind his parents, wife, and daughter. Posthumously, Viktor Yustimenko was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the III degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
