      • Born on August 19, 1969, in the village of Myrotske, Kyiv-Sviatoshyn district, Kyiv region. Graduated from the secondary school of the village of Myrotske. In 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as the deputy commander of a platoon - commander of the gun of the anti-tank battery of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2167, city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region). Since 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On November 3, 2014, Senior Sergeant Marchenko died of heart failure while performing a combat mission in the area of the village of Bakhchovik, Volnovakha district, Donetsk region. He was buried in the cemetery of the village of Myrotske, Kyiv-Sviatoshyn district, Kyiv region.
