Viktor P. Onysko (Tarantino)

Onysko Viktor Petrovych was born on December 17, 1982 in Kyiv. He graduated from the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute named after Igor Sikorsky. He worked on the TV channels "Enter-music" and "K1". Since 2006 - a film editor in Ukrainian film productions and independent projects. He edited over 20 feature and documentary films. He worked on the creation of music videos and trailers, in particular for the International Documentary Film Festival "Docudays UA". He was passionate about motocross and music. He played bass guitar and drums. In March 2022, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As part of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade, he participated in battles in the Kherson, Donetsk and Luhansk regions. He was killed on December 30, 2022 during the performance of a difficult combat mission near the city of Soledar, Donetsk region. He was buried on January 5, 2023 in the columbarium of the Baikove Cemetery in Kyiv. Later, the family scattered the ashes of the warrior in the mountains of Zakarpattia. He is survived by his wife and daughter.
