Viktor P. Skrypak

Soldier Viktor Skrypak was killed on October 5, 2022, while defending the Kharkiv region from Russian occupiers. The defender received a fatal wound near the village of Orlyanka. The warrior was 45 years old. Viktor was born in the city of Bakhmach, Chernihiv region. He received a secondary education. He worked as a builder. He lived in the Kharkiv region. He dedicated all his free time to his daughters, whom he adored. During the full-scale war, he fought in the ranks of the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Cossack Ataman Ivan Sirk. He held the position of a sniper. Together with his comrades, he defended the Kharkiv region. “Viktor was a God-sent dad, the best son, and a loyal friend. His eldest daughter still cannot believe that her dad is no longer here. He is our hero-volunteer!” said the late soldier's ex-wife, Svitlana. “We express our deepest condolences to all the relatives and close ones of the fallen Hero. With great sorrow, we share with you the pain of loss. Eternal memory to the fallen warrior. Heroes do not die!” noted the Rogan community. The warrior was buried in the settlement of Rogan in the Kharkiv region. Viktor is survived by his mother and two daughters.
