Viktor S. Yakubovskyi (Ryzhyi)

Soldier Viktor Yakubovsky (call sign Ryzhy) was killed on November 23, 2023 in a firefight with the occupiers near the settlement of Stepove in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 47 years old. Viktor was born and lived in Kyiv. He graduated from school No. 172. He worked at LLC "Sklo-Styl". In his free time, he loved to relax with his family, go fishing, and generally learn something new. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 26th separate rifle battalion. "A very loving husband and father. Always smiling, cheerful. Loved life, his family, was ready to do anything for them. We miss him very much, we grieve, we don't believe it. We will never forget. We love him," wrote the wife of the fallen Anna. The defender was buried at the Berkovets cemetery in the capital. At home, his wife and daughter were waiting for Viktor.
