- Viktor Valentynovych Aleksandrov was born on April 22, 1976, in the city of Dnipro. Since April 2022, soldier Viktor Aleksandrov has courageously and selflessly carried out service-combat tasks as part of the 3rd Border Detachment of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in the area of the city of Kreminna, Luhansk region, where heavy fighting was ongoing, and the enemy employed a large amount of armored equipment for their attacks. Since January 2023, he, along with his comrades, despite combat losses and continuous enemy artillery shelling of their positions, heroically resisted the offensive of superior enemy forces in the area of the city of Bakhmut, Donetsk region. On January 6, 2023, Viktor Aleksandrov, as part of a border unit under the clear command of Staff Sergeant Dmytro Kushnir, opposed an enemy attack. The adversary, shielded by artillery, attempted to seize Ukrainian platoon strongholds in the vicinity of the village of Pidhorodne, Donetsk region. The Ukrainian defenders, with bravery and selflessness, engaged in combat with the enemy, whose forces significantly outnumbered them. Despite the limited success of the occupying forces of the Russian Federation, Viktor Aleksandrov and his comrades held their ground until the end, which resulted in the elimination of 19 invaders. Unfortunately, during the battle, he sustained injuries, and the doctors were unable to save the serviceman's life. For his personal courage and selfless actions demonstrated in defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and for his loyalty to the military oath, soldier Viktor Valentynovych Aleksandrov was posthumously awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi III degree.Memory Book of the MIA System
