Viktor V. Huhlenko

Huhlenko Viktor Volodymyrovych was born in 1969, lived in the village of Halahanovka in Cherkasy district, Cherkasy region. He worked in the Cherkasy Department of Protective Massifs of the Dnieper Reservoirs for over 20 years: first as an electrician, later as the head of the pumping station. He participated in the war in Afghanistan and in the area of the Joint Forces Operation in Eastern Ukraine. During the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, he was a senior sergeant in a brigade artillery group. He was killed on March 22, 2022, as a result of a direct missile strike in Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region. He was buried in the Chyhyryn city community of Cherkasy region.
