      Killed in action on August 29, 2014, during the exit through the so-called "green corridor" from the Ilovaisk encirclement on the road near the village of Pobeda in the Starobeshivskyi district of Donetsk region. He was temporarily buried by local residents in a mass grave in the village of Pobeda. He was exhumed on September 18, 2014, by searchers from the "Evacuation-200" mission ("Black Tulip") and brought to the morgue in Dnipropetrovsk.
