Viktor V. Kolomichenko (Krest)

Sergeant Victor Kolomichenko (call sign Cross) was killed on March 24, 2023, from a bullet fired by an enemy sniper near Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 38 years old. Victor was born in the village of Kinetspool, Mykolaiv region. He lived in Pervomaysk. After finishing school, he obtained the profession of an electrician at a vocational school. For some time, he worked in his specialty and was a professional in his field. In recent years, he worked as a taxi driver. In his free time, he repaired cars, which he was passionate about. He loved high-speed driving. During the full-scale war, the man without hesitation decided to go to the front. He became a serviceman of the 9th separate rifle battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He did what he knew best - he was a driver. "During the full-scale invasion, Victor, without hesitation, joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to protect his family and Motherland. He could not sit idle, he always helped everyone. He had golden hands, he could do everything himself. He was not afraid of any work. He was kind, sensitive, and fair. He was always cheerful and positive, it was never sad with him. Probably, everyone who knew him will remember him as a positive person. He was everything to me in this life - a beloved, a brother, a friend. And for our son - the best loving dad. And he loved us very much, dreamed of returning home. He dreamed of going fishing or just to nature every weekend. And to be with us in peaceful Ukraine. Before Russia's invasion, we had a strong, happy family, which was gone in an instant. Time has passed, but I still cannot believe that he will no longer hug me, kiss me, and tickle our son as he always did. Victor was the best, we loved each other very much. We miss him terribly. Glory to my Hero!" - wrote the wife of the fallen defender, Olga. Victor was buried in the Alley of Glory in Pervomaysk. At home, his wife and son were waiting for the warrior.
