Viktor V. Koval

Koval Viktor Vasilyovych was born on March 23, 1979. He lived in the village of Ozerny in the Zhytomyr region. In 1996, he graduated from Ozernenska School. In 1998, he was conscripted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and in 2001, he became a cadet at the Air Force College. In 2004, he received the military rank of lieutenant. In 2008, he graduated from Zhytomyr State Technological University with a degree in "Automated Control of Technological Processes." In 2009, he graduated from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv in the field of "Psychology." He was killed on February 24, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission near the city of Mariupol. He was considered missing in action, but later it became known about his death. The hero is survived by his mother, wife, and two children. The farewell took place on March 29, 2023, and he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Pryazhiv in the Zhytomyr region.
