Viktor V. Nanyzniuk (Mekhanik)

Soldier Viktor Nanyznyk (call sign Mechanic) died on July 26, 2024 during enemy assault operations near the village of Novosadove, Donetsk region. The fighter was considered missing for two weeks. The defender was forever 35 years old. Viktor was born in the city of Bar in the Vinnytsia region. After school, he mastered the specialty "Maintenance and repair of cars and engines" at the Bar Automobile and Road Technical School. Later, he studied at the National Transport University in the field of "Engineering Mechanics". He worked as an automotive mechanic. His hobby was breeding and growing various breeds of rabbits. During the full-scale war, he held the position of senior rifleman-operator of the 1st rifle squad of the 2nd rifle platoon of the 3rd rifle company of the 120th separate brigade of the territorial defense. He was awarded the badge "Veteran of War". "My husband was very kind, brave and honest. A loving father, the best husband. He was devoted to his work, never refused to help anyone. From the first days, he stood up to protect his children and the Motherland," said the warrior's wife Yevhenia. The defender was buried in his hometown. Viktor left behind a wife, two children who were 10 and 6 years old at the time of their father's death, and parents.
