Viktor V. Rolik

Soldier Viktor Rolik was killed on December 15, 2022, while performing a combat mission near the village of Verkhnyokamyanske in the Donetsk region. The defender was 31 years old. Viktor was born in the village of Chervonyi Mayak in the Kherson region. In 2008, he graduated from the local general secondary school of grades I-III. He obtained two higher education degrees. He studied at the Dnipropetrovsk National Mining University and the National University "Odesa Polytechnic". In his free time, he loved to relax with his family and friends. He often went fishing with his colleagues, played football and volleyball. Recently, he lived in the capital, worked, in particular, at "Kyivmetrobud", "Kyivoblenergo" and "Kyivteploenergo". In March 2022, Viktor was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since July, the man has served in the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Mazepa. He held the position of a rifleman. "He was very energetic, kind and positive. He always came to help others," the warrior's parents said. The defender was buried at the Ichnia cemetery. The warrior is survived by his parents, sister, civil wife and stepdaughter. Viktor was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
