Viktor V. Semenenko

Senior soldier Viktor Semenenko was killed in action against the enemy on October 14, 2022 near the village of Kolisnykivka in the Kharkiv region. The warrior was 51 years old. Viktor was a native of the village of Borivske in the Kharkiv region. He lived in the village of Petrivka. In 1989, he graduated from Kharkiv Secondary Vocational School No. 15 and obtained the qualification of a 3rd class universal machine operator. For a long time, he worked as a lathe operator at the enterprise "KharkivAgro-2000". Since 2019, he has been a forklift driver at the GIS "Polimer" enterprise. He was fond of football. He participated in the ATO. With the start of the full-scale war, the man returned to the army and took up arms again to protect his loved ones and the Motherland from the invaders. He fought in the ranks of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade named after the Koshovy Otaman Ivan Sirko. He served in the artillery. "Dad was always smiling, with a unique sense of humor, caring, kind, loving, hardworking. He was respected by all the villagers and colleagues. He was a reliable friend, a real man, and most importantly, a good person... The doors of his house were never closed, he came to help, had an open, freedom-loving soul, many friends and godparents. After the end of the war, he dreamed of buying his own house, but the dream remained unfulfilled..." - said Olena Baranchuk. Viktor was buried in the village of Petrivka in the Kharkiv region. At home, the defender was awaited by his wife, daughter, son, granddaughter, sister, nephews, relatives and friends. The warrior was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
