Viktor V. Zadorozhnii

Born on March 19, 1978, in the village of Kovtunivka, Pryluky district, Chernihiv region. Graduated from the general education school in the village of Dubovy Hay, Pryluky district, and a vocational technical school specializing in "mechanization." Served mandatory military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After serving in the army, he went to work in the Russian Federation, where he worked in construction in St. Petersburg and Moscow. In February 2015, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit V0927, cities of Severodonetsk/Lysychansk, Luhansk region). On October 25, 2015, Junior Sergeant Zadorozhny was killed by a gunshot wound in the area of the village of Kamyanka, Yasynuvata district, Donetsk region. The body of the serviceman was found at dawn in a dugout. On October 31, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Kovtunivka, Pryluky district, Chernihiv region.
