Viktor V. Zakharchuk

41-year-old junior sergeant Viktor Zakharçuk was killed in action on July 26, 2022, during shelling in the area of the village of Berestove in Donetsk region. Viktor is from Rivnenshchyna. He stuwas killed in action at Varash Lyceum No. 2. He worked as a shift dosimetrist of the radiation safety department of the Rivne Nuclear Power Plant. Later, he received the profession of a radiochemist engineer at the Sevastopol National University of Nuclear Energy and Industry. With the start of the full-scale invasion, Viktor joined the 14th separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Roman the Great. He was a shooter-sanitarian. "The best representatives of the nation give their lives on the front line, and Viktor was one of them. Responsible, purposeful, brave, and kind - that's how his colleagues will remember him. Now our warrior is in heaven and will hold the sky over Ukraine, for which he gave his life," the Rivne Nuclear Power Plant noted. The defender was buried in the village of Stara Rafalivka, Varash district, Rivne region. Viktor left behind his parents and daughter.
