Vitalii A. Feshchuk

Senior soldier Vitaliy Feshchuk was killed on December 28, 2022 while performing a combat mission near the village of Bilohorivka in the Donetsk region. The defender came under enemy artillery fire. The warrior was 24 years old. Vitaliy was born in the village of Mali Yunachky, Khmilnytskyi region. He received his education and lived here. He worked at a brick factory. During the full-scale Russian invasion, Vitaliy defended Ukraine as part of the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Together with his comrades-in-arms, he fought on the front line, and the last place of service for the fighter was Bakhmut. "We lived together, we were going to get married after his return," said the deceased's beloved Anna. "My student is a wonderful, kind, sweet child," wrote Lilia Voroniuk. "Vitaliy selflessly defended our country, its independence, and gave his life for the right of every Ukrainian to live in a free and sovereign state. He will forever be in our hearts, in our thoughts, in our prayers, in the sacrificial and devoted struggle, in the daily work that brings our victory closer, in the consciousness of new generations. Sincere condolences to the family and loved ones in this moment of unspeakable grief... May the Almighty help to overcome the bitter pain of irreparable loss. Eternal memory and glory to the Hero! We bow to the ground, thanking for the protection," wrote on the page of the Antonivska community. The serviceman was buried in his native village. Vitaliy is survived by his parents, sister and beloved girlfriend.
