Vitalii A. Klymchuk

Sergeant Vitaliy Klymchuk was killed on June 19, 2022 near the village of Bilohiria, Zaporizhzhia region. While performing his duties to protect the Motherland, he came under enemy fire and received fatal injuries. In two months, on August 26, the warrior would have turned 42 years old. Vitaliy was from the village of Stadnytsia, Vinnytsia region. He studied at the local general secondary school of I-II degrees. He was good at mathematics and took his studies seriously. Then he obtained the profession of a stonemason and electric welder at the Vinnytsia Higher Art Vocational School No. 5. In 1998, he went to serve in the army. When he returned from the army, he moved from Vinnytsia to Kyiv, where he lived and worked for 12 years. In 2005, he returned to his native village, got a job at the recreation base "Na Yaru", where he worked for 2 years. Then for some time he was a builder. In 2014-2016, he took part in the ATO in the Volnovakha and Luhanske areas of the Donetsk region. At the end of 2017, he went to Poland to earn money. He dreamed of saving money to buy his own house. He was there for 4 years. When he found out about the full-scale invasion, he said that he could not be in another country when people were dying in his homeland. In March 2022, the man joined the army to defend his country again. He held the position of commander of a combat vehicle of a rocket artillery battery in military unit A7022. "Vitalik was fair, cheerful and sincere. His friends and relatives respected and loved him. He could always give advice and never refused to help. I thank him for protecting me and our Motherland. He is the best uncle," said the deceased's niece Maria Dorosh. The defender was buried in his native village. At home, Vitaliy was awaited by his mother, sisters, relatives, friends and loved ones.
