Vitalii A. Malashok

Born on October 29, 1970, in the city of Kyiv. Graduated from secondary school No. 200 in Kyiv. Studied at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (formerly Kyiv State University named after Taras Shevchenko), which he left in the 5th year. Worked as a security guard at the "Velyka Kyshehnya" supermarket. On January 29, 2015, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He underwent training at the 169th Training Center of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0665, the urban-type settlement of Desna, Kozelets district, Chernihiv region). He served as the deputy commander of a combat vehicle - a gunner-operator of the 2nd section of the 3rd platoon of the 6th company of the 2nd mechanized battalion of the 30th separate guards mechanized brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0409 (field post V2731), the city of Novograd-Volynskyi, Zhytomyr region). From March 9, 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On May 22, 2015, Sergeant Malashok was killed during a mortar shelling of the company stronghold near the village of Rozsadky in the Artemivsk (now Bakhmut) district of Donetsk region. On May 27, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Yasnohorodka, Vyshhorod district, Kyiv region.
