- 23-year-old soldier Vitaliy Myroniuk (call sign Myron) suffered serious injuries on September 11, 2022 during battles with Russian invaders near the village of Biloghirka in the Kherson region. 9 days later, on September 20, the fighter's heart stopped in a hospital in Odesa. Vitaliy was born in the village of Stara Chortoriya in the Zhytomyr region. He studied at the Starochortorivska secondary school. Then he enrolled in the Liubar Vocational Lyceum and obtained the qualifications of a tractor-machine operator in agricultural production, a repair mechanic for agricultural machinery and equipment, and a vehicle driver. After completing his studies, he went to work as a tractor-combine operator at the enterprise "Nova Peremoha". In 2019, he served a conscription term in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. After demobilization, he returned to civilian work. On the third day of the full-scale Russian invasion, on February 26, 2022, Vitaliy joined the ranks of the 46th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade to defend his native country from the enemy. "There is no and will never be such a good, sensitive, caring person and the best dad in the world as Vitalik. We will remember you, our hero, our defender. I will love him until my last breath... It's a pity that God gave so little time to be together..." - said the wife of the fallen warrior. The serviceman was buried in his native village in the Zhytomyr region. Vitaliy is survived by his parents, father-in-law and mother-in-law, wife Evelina and daughter Anna.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
