Vitalii H. Suprun

Sergeant Major Vitaliy Suprun was killed on September 29, 2023 near the village of Urozhaine in the Donetsk region. The defender was forever 46 years old. Vitaliy was born in the village of Irzhavets in the Chernihiv region. In 1984, he went to the 1st grade of the local school. He studied well and received commendations. He grew up as a sporty boy, loved to play football. Later, he studied at the Pryluky DOSAAF school to become a driver. In 1995-1997, he served as a radio telegrapher in military unit A4003 in the Zhytomyr region, with the rank of sergeant. He also graduated from the Varvynsky inter-school educational and production complex for labor training and vocational guidance of students, where he received a category "D" driver's license. In civilian life, he worked as a driver, in particular at PJSC "Kremin", and then on the route "Kyiv - Trostyanets". He was engaged in freight transportation throughout Ukraine. In his free time, he was interested in hunting and fishing. He loved to pick mushrooms. On January 4, 2023, Vitaliy was drafted into the military service, and a month later he was enlisted in the 31st separate mechanized brigade. He held the position of chief sergeant of the reconnaissance platoon. He was awarded the medal "Unbreakable Heroes of the Russian-Ukrainian War". Vitaliy was buried in his native village. He left behind his mother, two daughters and other relatives.
