- Dubina Vitaliy Ivanovych was born on May 14, 1992, in Kropyvnytskyi. After finishing general education school, he studied at a construction college. Later, he entered Kirovohrad Technical University in the Faculty of Construction. In 2012, after completing his mandatory military service, he began working for the rescue service. He was a rescuer not only by profession but primarily by calling. He served as a sergeant in the civil protection service, holding the position of driver-sapper in the pyrotechnic division of the special-purpose rescue unit of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kirovohrad Oblast. Vitaliy served directly in the pyrotechnic unit since 2013. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he was involved in demining operations in the Chernihiv, Mykolaiv, and Kharkiv regions. On May 3, 2023, Vitaliy tragically died during demining operations in the de-occupied territory near the village of Hrakove in the Chuhuiv district of Kharkiv Oblast. Vitaliy was always distinguished by reliability, composure, and thoughtfulness, responsibility, and professionalism. He was ready at any moment, risking his life, to help anyone in distress. This is how he will be remembered by all who knew him, having shared the hardships of service and fought side by side against life's challenges. Outside of service, Vitaliy was a lover of life, an optimist, very active, enjoyed wood burning, and skillfully worked with metal. He was not afraid of any work. He also had a passion for technology, constantly repairing and improving things. He was very persistent: once he set his mind to something, nothing could stop him. Even when he came home tired from work, he still engaged in his favorite activities and saw them through to the end. Loving, kind, and cheerful, as well as reliable and responsible, he quickly found common ground with others — this is how Vitaliy is remembered by his family, colleagues, friends, and loved ones.Memory Book of the MIA System
