- Born on June 10, 1994, in the village of Rozkishna, Savyshchensky District, Kyiv Oblast. In 2009, he graduated from the 9th grade of the general education school in the village of Rozkishna, Savyshchensky District, and entered the Tarashchansky Agrotechnical College named after Hero of the Soviet Union O. O. Shevchenko (now - Tarashchansky State Technical and Economic-Legal College, city of Tarasha, Kyiv Oblast). After some time, he transferred to the Kyiv Professional Transport Lyceum, which he graduated from in 2012, obtaining the profession of "Automobile Repair Mechanic." From May 23, 2013, he served under contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 95th Separate Airborne Brigade of the High Mobility Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0281, city of Zhytomyr). From April 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On August 9, 2014, soldier Halyant was killed during a battle near the city of Miusynsk in the Krasnolutsk City Council of Luhansk Oblast. Since then, he was considered missing in action. He was temporarily buried along with DUK fighter Andriy Pryshchepyuk on the outskirts of the city of Krasny Luch (now - the city of Khrustalny) in Luhansk Oblast near the "Novopavlivska" mine. On December 26, 2014, he was exhumed by the humanitarian mission "Evacuation-200" ("Black Tulip"). He was identified through DNA testing. He was reburied in the cemetery of the village of Rozkishna, Savyshchensky District. On September 2, 2015, a memorial plaque was unveiled in the village of Rozkishna, Savyshchensky District, on the facade of the general education school (7 Halyanta Vitalii Street), where Vitalii Halyant studied.
