Vitalii K. Skreminskyi (Shustryi)

Soldier Vitaliy Skreminskyy (call sign Shustryy) was killed on March 26, 2023, in battle for the city of Bakhmut, Donetsk region. The warrior was 46 years old. Vitaliy was born and lived in Zhytomyr. He obtained a secondary specialized education at the local vocational school No. 8. He then studied to become a manager in Odesa, where he remained living. He worked as a senior manager in the "Pichi ta kaminy" (Stoves and Fireplaces) store network. During the full-scale invasion, the man joined the ranks of the 122nd separate brigade of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a machine gunner in the 184th battalion. "My uncle was very brave, courageous, always stood for the independence and sovereignty of Ukraine. He loved Ukraine. He said: 'Ukraine is my Homeland, and I am ready to give my life for it,'" said Oleksandr Skreminskyy. The warrior was buried in the village of Stara Chortoriya, Zhytomyr region. Vitaliy is survived by his mother, brother, sisters, nephews, other relatives, friends, and comrades-in-arms. Posthumously, soldier Vitaliy Skreminskyy was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
