Biography
Svintskyi Vitaliy Kazymyrovych was born on September 11, 1977 in Russia in a military family. In 1991, he graduated from Lviv School No. 62. He received his higher education at the Lviv Academy of Veterinary Medicine named after S.Z. Hzhytskyi, at the Sanitary and Technological Faculty, which he graduated in 2000. In 2014, Vitaliy Svintskyi volunteered to go east to participate in the ATO. There he defended Ukraine as part of the 80th separate airborne assault brigade. In 2015, after returning to civilian life, he continued his public and volunteer activities: he founded a social gym for ATO veterans and was one of the co-organizers of the Sports Festival and the annual "Active Army Fest" festival. In 2015, he was elected to the Lviv City Council of the 7th convocation from the "Hromadskyi Rukh "Narodny Kontrol"" party. In 2020, he became a deputy from the Lopatyn community in Lviv region. He founded the NGO "Union of Airborne Veterans", was the head of the NGO "Civil Society and Power", and also the president of FC "Barylov". From the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion, Vitaliy returned to the 80th Airborne Brigade. In April 2022, for participation in battles in southern Ukraine, he was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree. He also took part in battles at the crossing in Bilohorivka, near the settlements of Lysychansk, Sievierodonetsk, Popasna, Sviatohirsk, Soledar, Bakhmut and Kreminna. In the autumn of 2022, despite a severe injury, after a short treatment, he returned to the front. He was killed on January 25, 2023 during the assault on enemy positions. The farewell took place in the Lviv Cathedral. The warrior was buried on January 30, 2023 at the Lychakiv Cemetery. Vitaliy Svintskyi is survived by his elderly parents and daughter.Burial place
