Biography
In 1996, he graduated from the Kyiv Military Lyceum named after Ivan Bohun. After graduating from the lyceum, Vitaliy Mykolayovych entered the Kyiv Military Institute of Communications, where he studied from 1996 to 2001. At one time, he participated in a military parade in honor of the 7th anniversary of Ukraine's Independence. After graduating from the institute, he began his military career as an officer in a military unit, holding the position of communications chief of a separate anti-aircraft missile battalion in the Odesa region. From 2001 to 2003, Vitaliy Honcharuk served as the commander of the telegraph-telephone communications platoon of the command post communications company of military unit A1402. From 2003 to 2011, he continued military service as the commander of the command post communications company of the same unit, and from 2007, military unit A1402 was relocated to the city of Donetsk. From 2011 to 2015, Vitaliy Mykolayovych held the position of communications chief of the headquarters of military unit A1402 of the 156th anti-aircraft missile regiment. He got married in 2002. In 2004, his son Vladislav was born. Since 2014, the servicemen of the unit were involved in defending the borders near the city of Avdiivka. Vitaliy Mykolayovych was killed on September 8, 2015, on the "Donetsk — Zaporizhzhia" highway near the village of Orly in the Pokrovsk district of Dnipropetrovsk region while performing a combat mission.Military service
