Vitalii M. Lukashenko (Tsyhan)

Soldier Vitaliy Lukashenko (call sign Tsygan) died on November 8, 2023, during an enemy mortar and artillery bombardment near the village of Dibrova in the Luhansk region. The defender was forever 29 years old. Vitaliy was born in the village of Troitske in the Odesa region. He finished school and went to work as a construction worker. He lived with his family in the city of Bilyaivka in the Odesa region. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man joined the ranks of the 63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade, was the gunner of the 2nd mechanized squad of the 2nd mechanized platoon of the 3rd mechanized company of the 106th Mechanized Battalion. "He was a jack-of-all-trades. He loved fishing," wrote his wife Yulia. The defender was buried in his native village. Vitaliy is survived by his wife, a son who was 1.5 years old at the time of his father's death, a sister, and an aunt.
