Vitalii M. Nozhka

Vitalii Mykolaiovych Nozhka was born on November 12, 1971 in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region. From 1995, he worked as a repair fitter (foreman) in the coke shop No. 1 of the coke production of "ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih". With the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 26, 2022, he was mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On the front, Vitalii Nozhka repaired military equipment, and as part of the 17th separate Kryvyi Rih tank brigade named after Kostiantyn Pestushko, he participated in combat operations in the Luhansk region. He was killed on April 11, 2022 near the city of Popasna, Sievierodonetsk district, Luhansk region. The farewell ceremony for the fallen took place on April 17, 2022. Vitalii Nozhka was buried in the Alley of Glory of the Central Cemetery in Kryvyi Rih.
