Vitalii O. Ivasivka

Ivasisvka Vitalii Oleksandrovych was born in August 1988. He lived in the village of Moshuriv, Uman district, Cherkasy region. After finishing school, he studied at the Chornoliska Forestry School, where he obtained the profession of a forester. He then worked as a forester in the Kyiv-Sviatoshyn district. Over time, he returned to his native village, where he worked in the local bakery for a long time. Since 2015, he has been a participant in the Anti-Terrorist Operation. Since 2019, he has continued his military service under contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he has been a senior soldier, deputy commander of a combat vehicle, and a gunner-operator of the 1st mechanized company of the 1st mechanized battalion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces unit. He was killed on May 4, 2022, during a battle with a sabotage and reconnaissance group of the enemy in the Luhansk region. He is survived by his parents, wife, son, and brother. He was buried in his native village.
