- Born on March 12, 1986, in the urban-type settlement (now a city) of Derazhnia, Khmelnytskyi region. In 2001, he graduated from the 9th grade of secondary school No. 2 in the city of Derazhnia. From April 19, 2004, to October 24, 2005, he served in the ranks of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, called up by the Derazhnia District Military Commissariat of Khmelnytskyi region. He underwent training in the training unit in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region. He served as a sniper in military unit 3059 of the Central Territorial Command of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (Kremenchuk, Poltava region). In 2008, he graduated from the Khmelnytskyi Institute of Social Technologies of the Open International University of Human Development "Ukraine" (Khmelnytskyi) with a degree in "Law". He lived and worked in the city of Derazhnia. On September 4, 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He underwent military training at the International Center for Peacekeeping and Security of the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Ground Forces Academy (military unit A4150, village of Starichi, Yavoriv district, Lviv region). He served as a number of the 2nd battery of the howitzer artillery division of the 44th separate artillery brigade of the Operational Command "West" of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A3215 (field post V1428), city of Ternopil). He participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. He was involved in the battles for the city of Debaltseve in Donetsk region. On January 16, 2015, soldier Vitaliy Karakula was killed during a shelling from Grad multiple rocket launchers of the division's positions in the area of the village of Odradivka in the Artemivsk (now Bakhmut) district of Donetsk region when a shell hit his dugout. Along with him, soldier Oleksandr Bosyi, soldier Serhii Slobozhenko, and senior sergeant Mykola Shtanskyi were killed. On January 21, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the city of Derazhnia, Khmelnytskyi region.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
