Vitalii P. Tsaruk

Serviceman Vitaliy Tsaruk was killed on May 24, 2022 during enemy shelling in the Donetsk region. The defender was 47 years old. Vitaliy was born in the village of Tynne, Rivne region. He had physical work in the village all his life, worked in agriculture. His last job was in the forestry, he loved his work, although it was very hard. He never complained. After the start of the full-scale invasion, Vitaliy joined the ranks of the 24th separate mechanized brigade named after King Danylo and went to defend Ukraine from the Russian invaders. "Dad was a very kind and generous person. I still can't believe he's gone, it's like a terrible dream... He will forever remain in our memory as a hero," said his daughter Alina. "Everyone who knew Vitaliy Petrovych personally noted his courage and humanity, in their memories he will forever remain a calm and sensitive person. For our community, the deceased is a hero who gave us the opportunity to live and survive at the cost of his own life," said Vitaliy's fellow villagers. The defender was buried in his native village. Vitaliy is survived by his mother Halyna, wife Svitlana, daughter Alina, sons Oleksandr and Mykola, and grandchildren Oleksandr and Marko.
