Vitalii S. Prinkovskyi

32-year-old Senior Sergeant Vitaliy Prinkovskyi was killed on March 21, 2023, at the Dnipro Regional Hospital. The defender sustained severe injuries in combat with the enemy in the Zaporizhzhia direction. Vitaliy was born in Mala Vyska, Kirovohrad region. He lived in Kropyvnytskyi. He graduated from Vocational School No. 16. He was passionate about motorcycles. In civilian life, he worked at the KIA factory in Slovakia. The man joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in April 2022. He was part of the 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade, serving as a rifleman in the reconnaissance platoon. As part of his unit, he defended the Zaporizhzhia region. "Vitaliy was a kind and brave person. He went to war to protect us. He wanted us to live in a free country without war. And now without him, we don't know how to live on..." - said his wife Yana. The soldier was buried in the Alley of Glory at the central cemetery in Mala Vyska. At home, he was awaited by his parents, wife, son, and sister. Vitaliy Prinkovskyi was posthumously awarded the medal "Defender of the Fatherland."
