- Vitaliy Viktorovych Dobrozhан was born on November 12, 1969, in the city of Rubizhne, Luhansk region. In 1980, he graduated from the Luhansk Vocational Technical School. On March 16, 2022, Vitaliy Dobrozhан was called up for military service in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine by mobilization and was assigned to the missile artillery division of the rapid response border command of the 7th border detachment. After undergoing medical, tactical, and combat training, on April 19, 2023, Master Sergeant Vitaliy Dobrozhан, as part of the border service unit (type C) of the rapid response border command, was dispatched to the area of direct fire confrontation with the enemy near the city of Siversk in the Donetsk region. Upon arriving at the firing position, he, along with his comrades, completed its arrangement and prepared for defensive combat to hold the occupied lines. While carrying out combat missions, Vitaliy Dobrozhан demonstrated courage and selflessness, ensuring the successful repulsion of enemy assaults by his example. He repeatedly engaged in close-quarters combat with the enemy and skillfully used a mounted anti-tank grenade launcher. On June 4, 2023, while changing positions during intense gunfire in the area of the village of Hryhorivka in the Donetsk region, the vehicle in which Vitaliy was located came under enemy artillery fire, resulting in injuries that were incompatible with life. For his personal bravery and selfless actions demonstrated in defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as his loyalty to the military oath, Master Sergeant Vitaliy Viktorovych Dobrozhан was posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage" of the III degree.Memory Book of the MIA System
