- Vitaliy Fesyuk was killed on February 27, 2022 in Bucha, Kyiv region, while performing a combat mission. The man was a reconnaissance spotter. He was 44 years old. Vitaliy was born and lived in Bucha. He graduated from the Nemishaiv Agrotechnical College and the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, obtaining the qualification of mechanical engineer. He worked at various enterprises in his specialty, and was also the head of production. In his free time, he loved to do household chores: he tinkered, built, and repaired. He dreamed of having his own car repair shop. He loved to fish and spend time with his family. Recently, he paid more attention to his son: they went to the lake and the park together, played ball, and rode bicycles. A day before the full-scale war, Vitaliy received a summons. He went to the military registration and enlistment office and returned home. On February 24, he went to work with his wife as usual. After lunch, the man told his wife that they should leave with their son. He himself got ready for service - his military ID was already at the military registration and enlistment office. The next day, the woman and the child left. Contact with Vitaliy was lost. On February 26, he wrote to his son - asking him not to be afraid, and added that he loved him very much. Olena tried to call, but there was no connection. The woman was very worried. On social networks, she asked people who had information about Vitaliy to respond. Only in April did a man write to Olena, who reported that Vitaliy had was killed in his arms. "Vitaliy was called to the military unit, his military ID was taken away, a uniform, a fully packed backpack, and weapons were issued to him. Someone from the military unit set the tasks that he had to perform. Vitaliy was a reconnaissance spotter. He counted the enemy equipment that was passing through the Bucha crossing and transmitted the information to the Telegram group. On February 27, during the performance of the task, he was noticed and they started shooting. A shot from heavy equipment tore off his right hand, ruptured his forearm and chest. The man who was nearby tried to provide assistance. But Vitaliy lost a lot of blood. This led to his death," Olena Fesyuk says. At first, Vitaliy was buried in a mass grave. Later, his wife was able to rebury him. "Vitaliy was fair, kind, and always helped everyone who turned to him. I promise you, dear, to do everything in my power to prove this injustice. I promise to live for our most precious little son. Vladyslav is very sad and cries. He recently told me: 'If I saw dad now, I would run to him very quickly. I would hug him very, very tightly and never let go again.' My heart is breaking when I see him suffering. You will always be in our hearts, eternal and bright memory to you, our Hero," the woman adds. Vitaliy is survived by his wife and 9-year-old son.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
