Vitalii V. Kasianenko

Vitaliy Vasylovych Kasynenko was born in 1992 in the city of Kirovohrad (now Kropyvnytskyi). After graduating from the National Ground Forces Academy named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi, he received the military rank of lieutenant. Since 2017, he has been participating in the war in Eastern Ukraine. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the artillery officer was on the front lines. He was killed on March 21, 2022, during an artillery shelling in the city of Popasna in Luhansk region. The farewell ceremony for Vitaliy Kasynenko took place on April 1, 2022, in Kropyvnytskyi. The fallen hero was buried in the Alley of Glory at the Rivnian Cemetery in Kropyvnytskyi.
